Happy holidays! This year has truly flown by. As 2016 comes to a close, I write my last note as CEO of US-China Strong to all of my friends, supporters, colleagues, partners and champions. It’s because of you that the Foundation has grown to what it is today – an organization embedded in US-China affairs and playing an important role on the global stage for one of the world’s most consequential bilateral relationships.
I’m so honored to be writing this as I look back on my time with US-China Strong. In just seven years, we’ve evolved from a State Department initiative to an independent nonprofit and through a complete rebrand. On behalf of the Foundation, I cherish your support and am so thankful for all that we’ve achieved.
It’s been an incredible ride, and I’ll miss each and every one of you. On January 1, I’ll be moving on to a new opportunity in Washington. But in the meantime, I’ll remain with US-China Strong in an advisory role as we search for the next CEO, assisting our Chairman George Lee and the rest of the Board’s CEO search committee.
I’m excited about the future of US-China Strong and cannot wait to see what’s in store. Join me in continuing to support the Foundation as it enters this new, exciting chapter.
Thanks, as always, for your support.
The US-China Strong Foundation
