Lin Gao is a Vice Chair of AmCham China’s Board of Governors. Previously, she served as Senior Director of Global Government Affairs at Motorola Solutions where she was responsible for engaging external stakeholders including key Chinese and U.S. government agencies for business advocacy and regulatory development. Born and raised in Beijing, Lin has two decades of experience with Fortune 500 companies in China and the U.S. As the vice chair elect for American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham China), Lin has been serving on the board since 2013 and has frequently met with high level officials from both Chinese and U.S. government to advocate for standard, market access and improving operating conditions for member companies in China. Through her substantial globetrotting, Lin cultivated a deep appreciation of diversity and became passionate about being a bridge between the east and the west. Lin holds an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is pursuing her Doctor in Business Administration part-time from Nottingham Trent University, UK.
