I wanted to make sure you saw a few recent news items featuring 100,000 Strong. Earlier this week, Huffington Post ran an op-ed, Paris Talks Underscore Importance of US-China Relationship, on the important role of US-China relations in the global climate change debate.
Also, on the heels of our activities last week in Delaware with Gov. Jack Markell and Wanxiang Group, 100,000 Strong has been featured in several articles:
- The News Journal, Study program in China for students expands
- Xinhua News Agency/GlobalPost, More U.S. students get change to learn Chinese in China
Through these efforts we continue to raise awareness about 100,000 Strong and the new 1 Million Strong initiative, which aims to see a fivefold increase from 200,000 to 1 million in the number of US, K-12 students studying in China and learning Mandarin by 2020. For more information about 1 Million Strong or to see how you can help us reach this important goal, please click here.
We look forward to sharing more news and updates with you in the weeks ahead.
Thanks, as always, for your support.
